I don't like getting the bus to college in the mornings. I have to crank the volume on my ipod up to avoid being too irritated by the loud people on the bus, and that makes it harder for me to concentrate on whatever it is I am trying to read. Also because of the amount of people on the bus, there is always a ton of condensation on the windows. So this mornings journey was spent observing the world through a wall of spit.

Growing Up

Growing up concerns me to a degree.
That degree is measurable in a book store.

When you see a kid in a book store, given the kid is into books of course, the child looks around, is excited by the shiny, and will grab a book based on its cover, and delve into the book with nothing else concerning them.

Adults look at price, read the blurb, like to have good reviews on a book, know a little something about it, they don't want to waste their time reading something that could turn out be cack, and a waste of their time for reading.

This is one of many examples.

The little prince is one of my favourite books of all time.

Reading up on universities in my spider-man pyjamas. Listening to Fleetwood Mac while working on essays and drinking hot coffee-chocolate. Stressed.
Have decided I want to do a degree at uni followed by a PGCE.
Courses I am currently considering are English+History, English+Film Studies, and just English.
I'm not sure. But the English+History goes onto an abroad 4th year at these old historical study schools which seem pretty badass.
I am pretty addicted to PVZ, and am excited by the prospect of a sequel. I have all the achievements in PVZ but the zen garden one, and every day I buy my new plant. Tonights was a double :/

So, now midway through the summer of a lifetime project I am sleep deprived, but very happy. The participants are responding to the activities, and becoming awesome leaders for the challenges we are setting. It's brilliant. The residential bit is over with, but they still have this big project to plan that will benefit the world and promote volunteering. I am excited to see how they get on.

It has been really very fun, and I am happy with how the teams are getting on.

Work at the minute is pretty good, the Sunday 14 hour shift is still a pain in the arse but until I figure out a way of making it work somehow else it'll have to do. I will look at shifts and college times again tomorrow.

I will be recording some songs with a proper drummer sometime this coming week. I will tweet when and if tracks are uploaded.

While on the second residential I left a note for the cleaners because when I came back to my room one day my pyjamas and boxers were folded on my bed. Thought it was a bit weird. I left them a friendly note asking them to just leave my room, and left them a poem. They wrote back, and were really nice, and gave me extra coffee :D

I am going on two consecutive week long voluntary residentials with a charity called Focus http://www.focus-charity.co.uk/ starting Monday, and working the care home on the weekends, so I don't know how much I will update my stuff. I will try to update here and there if I have free time and wifi, as I will be taking my Ipod touch with me, so twitter should still be fairly active. (hopefully) But my free time will be extremely sparse. I will try to record a video while there or something though. We'll see how it goes, I need to be up in about 5 hours for work, but I cannot sleep. My body clock is insane. For those of you that do not know me IRL the below picture is me, and the diagonal screaming girl is my fiance. word.

So I cancelled by godaddy hosting and stuck the url on a blogger account. Reason for this being I have no clue about coding, and sorting out all my own design, and whatnot through wordpress and my own server was extremely confusing. I broke the website multiple times, and I never could get it how I wanted it. Secondly Blogger is free. So I have given up on design until I learn more about it. This for the foreseeable future, will be the happy home of my website. I will keep the url, I like having a proper url.
